Daniel J. Dreyer

Daniel J. Dreyer joined Seebald & Associates after 10 years of military service in the United States Marine Corps and 17 years of service as a Training Officer for New York State Law Enforcement.

During his time in the Marine Corps, as a member of the 2nd Force Reconnaissance Battalion, he was attached to the 32nd and 34th Marine Amphibious Unit Advisory Groups. While serving aboard 6th Fleet naval vessels out of Norfolk, he was assigned with the task of training and evaluating the Armed Forces, Special Tactical Units and Royal Guards from the countries of Lebanon, Yemen, Oman, Israel, Egypt, Tunisia and Kenya. While stationed in Beirut, Lebanon from February 1982 to October 1984, Dreyer worked with the Lebanese Armed Forces and civilian authorities in the surveillance and apprehension of terrorist groups operating in and around Beirut.

He also was stationed at the Marine Corps Officer Candidate School in Quantico, VA where he was an instructor in unarmed defensive tactics and anti–terrorist warfare until 1986.

After his military service he worked as an instructor and trainer for American Protective Services in Buffalo, NY and for 17 years worked for the New York State Department of Corrections as a drill instructor and trainer in Albany and Brocton, NY. During his state service he also was assigned as an instructor at the New York State Troopers Academy at the State Harriman Campus in Albany, NY.
